New Delhi: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty shared a new post on social media on Thursday in which he talked about the experiences he gained in the past one year. The Narcotics Control Bureau, which is investigating the drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, had arrested the sibling duo for allegedly procuring drugs for the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor in September 2020. While Rhea was granted bail in October, Showik walked out of jail on December 2, 2020.
What Did Showik Chakraborty Post?
The 24-year-old thanked his well-wishers, who provided rock solid support to his family members when they were going through turbulent times.
He wrote, “A year later. From being down under to rising up - this one year has taught me what I couldn’t learn in the 24 years of my being. The value of normalcy, the true expression of love and the meaning of gratitude. This year carved me into the person i am now, and I have nothing but gratitude to be here - “Home” with my family and friends.”
“I want to thank everyone who stood by my family - you’ll truly were our “lifelines” Onwards and upwards from here on,” Showik added.

Court Orders NCB To Defreeze Rhea's Bank Accounts, Return Her Gadgets
Last month, a Mumbai special court ordered thr NCB to defreeze her bank accounts and return her electronic gadgets, according to a report in IANS. Rhea Chakraborty had filed a plea before the court, seeking the release of her laptop and iPhone. She also requested the court to give her access to her bank accounts as she had to pay her bills and taxes.
Last year, the federal agency froze the bank accounts and Fixed Deposits of Rhea by issuing a notice after her arrest in an alleged drugs case, which linked to Sushant's death case.

On the professional front, Rhea was last seen in 'Chehre', which released in the cinema halls in August. The thriller starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
