Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone’s wedding has become the talk of the town ever since the two ‘Padmaavat’ co-stars announced that they are getting married on November 14 and 15. Fans have not been able to control their excitement after DeepVeer confirmed that they are getting married next month. Speculations were rife for quite some time that the two lovebirds would follow the footsteps of Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli and tie the knot in Lake Como, Italy. It was said the adorable couple was keen to exchange nuptial vows at the picturesque location.

As per the latest buzz, there might be a change of plans and Deepika & Ranveer will get hitched in Mumbai. A report in a leading daily said that logistical reasons prompted a change in the wedding venue. It was proving difficult for several family members to travel and hence the couple decided to marry in Mumbai, the report added.

Deepika and Ranveer are likely to have their sangeet, mehendi, wedding and reception at a five-star hotel in Vakola, Mumbai, as per the report in Mid-Day. Interestingly, they have roped in the same wedding planber who managed Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s wedding.

Ranveer and Deepika issued a joint statement to announce their wedding. ‘’With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty friendship and togetherness," the statement read.


Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Kriti Sanon showered the couple with their wishes. DeepVeer’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ co-star Priyanka Chopra wished the two in pure ‘Desi’ manner.

PeeCee is also rumoured to be getting married to fiancé Nick Jonas on December 1 in Jodhpur.
