New Delhi: A few days back, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Brahmastra’ actor is currently under quarantine and is taking all the precautionary measures. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, who also tested positive for COVID-19 last year in December shared the news on her social media.


Neetu Kapoor wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions πŸ™”

After Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19, Alia Bhatt self-quarantined herself as not only her boyfriend but her director from her upcoming movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali also tested positive for the virus. The ‘RRR’ actress quarantined herself as she has been in close proximity with both of them. The ‘Darlings’ actress and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been working together in their upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.


Luckily, the actress tested negative for COVID-19 and has resumed her shooting.


Earlier today, Alia took to her Instagram and shared an adorable post for her beau Ranbir Kapoor as he continues to be in isolation. She shared a picture of her and Ranbir holding hands as she captioned the picture as, “major missing β™ΎπŸ’—”



Alia Bhatt was also spotted last night at Mukteshwar Temple offering prayers with Ayan Mukerji on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The ‘Brahmastra’ actress made a stunning appearance in a red salwar kameez.


Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia will be next seen starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Brahmastra’. She will also be seen starring in ‘RRR’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Darlings’.
