New Delhi: Following 'Brahmastra', Ranbir Kapoor wowed the audience by starring opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the Luv Ranjan film 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar'. He made a promotional appearance on season 4 of his sister Kareena Kapoor Khan's radio programme 'What Women Want', where he spoke extensively about his history and present. The actor and Alia Bhatt had their first child, a girl, last year. Ranbir was reputedly referred to as the Casanova, who had dated numerous women, before he married the love of his life.

For the uninitiated, Deepika Padukone, who was in a relationship with Ranbir for a good period of time during the intital years of their careers, accused the actor of cheating on her after their nasty breakup. Ranbir himself repeatedly confessed cheating in relationships, something he later regretted.

Ranbir Kapoor was questioned if he had ever been a "makkaar" in a relationship during his most recent visit on Kareena Kapoor Khan's chat show. He stated without any hesitancy that he had done so, but that over time he had come to see the importance of being honest with his partner.

Ranbir Kapoor told Kareena Kapoor Khan, “Maine kiya hua hai ye, but as you get older you realise the more honest and open you are with your partner, the relationship becomes deeper and more meaningful.”

Ranbir Kapoor also talked openly about his parenting philosophy in the same interview. According to the actor and Alia, Raha should grow up in a typical environment.

He said, "We just want for her to have a normal upbringing. To go to school, to not make her feel too special, different around other children. She should just have a normal life. Other than that, there is no rule that, ‘Oh we want it this way.’ Raha should not grow up and after 4-5 years say, ‘Why are they not clicking me?’ She should not be saying that also! What if she comes one day and says, ‘See how much Jeh and Taimur get clicked! Mere toh koi photos he nahi le raha.”

On the work front, Ranbir has been riding high on the success of Luv Ranjan directorial 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar', that brought him back as a rom-com hero, charming the audience with his chocolate boy looks. He will next be seen in a bloodied avatar opposite Rashmika Mandanna in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'.
