Ram Charan Announces His Next Film After 'RRR', Says 'Excited To Be Part Of Shankar's Cinematic Brilliance'

It is turning out to be a blockbuster Friday as two new films have been announced. Earlier in the day, Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap shared a statement to officially launch their new film titled ‘Dobaaraa’. The upcoming flick will star Taapsee Pannu, who has worked with Kashyap in ‘Manmarziyaan’ and ‘Game Over’.

The new age thriller will be presented by Cult Movies - a new division under Ekta’s Balaji Telefilms. Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose have come on board as the co-producers. Anurag Kashyap, who was recently seen in Netflix’s ‘AK Vs AK’, will don the hat of the director for ‘Dobaaaraa’.

South Producer Dil Raju also announced his upcoming film with Tollywood star Ram Charan. The yet-to-be titled flick will be directed by Shankar. Guess what? The movie will release in three different languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share details about the film. He tweeted, “SHANKAR - RAM CHARAN - DIL RAJU TEAM UP... #RamCharan, director #Shankar and producer #DilRaju collaborate for a new film... Not titled yet... Will release in three languages: #Hindi, #Telugu and #Tamil. #SVC50 #RC15.”

Interestingly, the upcoming drama is quite special for Dil Raju as it will mark his 50^th film as a producer. Charan, who made his debut with Chirutha, is expected to start shooting for his 15^th film after wrapping up ‘RRR’.

He expressed his excitement on working with the ‘2.0’ director for the first time in his career. “Excited to be a part of Shankar Sir's cinematic brilliance produced by Raju garu and Shirish garu,” Charan wrote.

On the professional front, Ram Charan will be next seen in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. The ‘Dhruva’ star will essay the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju in the much-awaited film, which is slated to hit the silver screens on October 13, 2021.  The period drama will also feature Jr. NTR, who will play Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn will make their debut in South Cinema with ‘RRR’.
