Rakul Preet has put an end to the rumours of her buying alcohol, which surfaced after a video went viral on social media.

New Delhi: All liquor shops across the country were closed ever since PM Narendra Modi announced lockdown from March 25. Retail liquor outlets were recently given the permission to resume their operations. Several videos from different parts of India reveal that people flouted the social distancing norms while queuing up outside the liquor shops . Amid the entire hullabaloo, a video of actress Rakul Preet Singh walking with a bottle in her hand has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by KRK’s entertainment website on Twitter and it created a lot of buzz on the micro-blogging site. The clip went viral in no time and soon people started flooding Rakul Preet's timeline with questions. Rakul was quick to enough to respond to the tweet and squash all the rumours which claimed that she bought alcohol from a liquor store. “Oh wow ! I wasn’t aware that medical stores were selling alcohol,” the ‘De De Pyaar De’ actress tweeted. The tweet was enough to put an end to the rumours surfacing on the internet.
