Also seen as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss', actress-dancer Rakhi Sawant has finally revealed that she is married now.

Actress and dancer Rakhi Sawant, who often make headlines, recently was in limelight as various reports suggested that she secretly got married to an NRI in the presence of her family on 28th July at a hotel in Mumbai. Later, Rakhi Sawant stated that it was just a bridal photo shoot and she hasn't tied the knot. A week after her secret wedding reports took over the Internet, controversy-queen Rakhi Sawant has finally confirmed getting married and has also revealed various details about her NRI husband Ritesh and wedding day.

Rakhi Sawant & Ritesh, who is a businessman by profession, exchanged wedding vows in both Hindu & Christian wedding ceremonies at a hotel. Rakhi's mother, brother and few other close relatives attended her wedding ceremonies. Speaking about her husband, newlywed Rakhi Sawant told an entertainment portal that, "Well, his name is Ritesh and he is in the UK. In fact, he has already left. My visa is underway and I will join him. Of course I shall continue to work whatever I get in India, so will shuttle for that. I always wanted to produce TV shows and I think my long-standing dream will now be fulfilled." Sharing her love story with hubby Ritesh, Rakhi Sawant further told SpotboyE that, "It's a fab story. He was my fan. He whatsapped me. Messaging and then talking to him, we became friends with the passage of time. This happened about a year-and-half back. Then in fact, he proposed if I would like to marry one of his friends. I turned it down politely. Dil mein ghanti nahin baji, I told him. He promptly asked, 'Mere liye dil mein ghanti bajti hai kya?' I said I need time to think. As more time rolled by, I realised I was falling in love with Ritesh. And, it was happening so very naturally." Rakhi Sawant further revealed that she met Ritesh 15 days before their wedding for the first time. After their first meeting, Rakhi was sure that he's the right guy for her. Ever since her wedding, Rakhi Sawant has been posting various pictures on her social media account in which she is beaming with joy and can be seen flaunting her sindoor and chooda with hubby Ritesh's name. On a related note, Rakhi Sawant was reportedly earlier married to a guy named Ashraf. In 2007, various reports suggested that Rakhi Sawant secretly got married to Ashraf in 2004. Reportedly, Rakhi and Ashraf's marriage lasted only for 2-3 months as Ashraf was accused of fraud and was jailed. Later, Rakhi too found out that Ashraf was a married man and had a kid. Rakhi was earlier in a longtime relationship with TV actor Abhishek Awasthi. However, the two parted ways after an ugly break-up. Rakhi then got engaged to NRI Elesh Parujanwala on national television on her show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar' only to call it quits, later. Last year, Rakhi Sawant announced that she'll tie the knot with Deepak Kalal on New Year's. But, it turned out to be a publicity stunt later.
