Mumbai: It is turning out to be a blockbuster October as several highly anticipated films will release this month. While few movies will premiere directly on OTT platforms, films like ‘Bhavai’ will arrive in the theatres. Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’, which has been directed by Abhishek Jain, will also release on a streaming giant. 

'Hum Do Hamare Do' Release Date

Kriti Sanon, who is playing the female lead, took to social media to reveal the release date of ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’. She shared an intriguing poster along with the caption, “Hamara hero, uska pyaar aur uske adopted Maa-Baap, manayenge Diwali aapke saath.”  

Fans have flooded the comment section with their messages, expressing their excitement on seeing Kriti and Rajkummar again in a project. The duo earlier worked in 'Bareily Ki Barfi', which also starred Ayushmann Khurrana.

'Hum Do Hamare Do' Cast

The comedy drama also featured Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak Shah, Aparshakti Khurana, Manu Rishi Chadha and Prachi Shah in key roles. The movie will focus on the story of a young couple, who wants to adopt parents. 

'Hum Do Hamare Do' Teaser

Before the revealing the release date, the makers had unveiled the film's teaser. Kriti posted the video on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Yeh Diwali...Familywaali! Presenting the teaser of #HumDoHamareDo."

Films Which Are Releasing On OTT In October 2021 

Taapsee Pannu’s much-awaited ‘Rashmi Rocket’ will premiere on ZEE5 on October 15. The sports drama co-starring Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli will focus on gender testing on female athletes.  

Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sardar Udham’, which is based on the life of the revolutionary freedom fighter, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 16.  

Kriti Sanon's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, the tinsel town was recently seen in 'Mimi', which premiered on Netflix. She received rave reviews for her performance as a surrogate mother in the film. 

Kriti has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Bhediya', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Adipurush' and 'Ganapath'.
