New Delhi: ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is one of the most-awaited movies of this year. Featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, fans have been eagerly waiting for this movie to hit the screens. The wait is finally over as the makers of ‘Pushpa’ has finally revealed the release date of this Allu-Rashmika starrer movie.

Taking to his Twitter, film critic Taran Adarsh disclosed that ‘Pushpa’ will hit the theatres 1 week before Christmas i.e. on December 17, 2021. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “'PUSHPA' RELEASE DATE FINALISED: ARRIVING ONE WEEK *BEFORE* CHRISTMAS... #Pushpa - which was scheduled for release on #Christmas - will now release one week early: 17 Dec 2021... Stars #AlluArjun, #FahadhFaasil and #RashmikaMandanna.”

Also, a few days back, the makers of ‘Pushpa’ introduced Rashmika Mandanna’s character to the world. The ‘Mission Majnu’ actress shared the look on her Instagram and wrote, “Srivalli”.

Allu Arjun also revealed in his Instagram post that ‘Pushpa’ will release in five languages – Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. The action-thriller film has been written and directed by Sukumar. The movie will also mark Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The actor will be seen portraying the role of the antagonist in this movie, which will release in two parts. The plot of ‘Pushpa’ revolves around the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
