New Delhi: Global icon Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra took to Twitter to reveal that her father’s phone was snatched at knife-point by two guys when he went for a walk. The ‘1920 London’ actress said that two guys came on a scooter and snatched her father’s mobile phone. She tagged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Police in her tweet while reporting the crime. The actress also questioned the safety of the people in the national capital.

"@DelhiPolice my dad was taking a walk in #policecolony. 2 guys came in a scooter, showed knife and snatched his phone. This is how safe you claim Delhi to be. @ArvindKejriwal @CPDelhi," Meera wrote on the micro-blogging site. Check out her tweet!


Meera Chopra posted another tweet to share the details of the FIR. She tweeted, "Fir no: NWD-MT-000568 at prince road near PCR police line, model town. Can send you the contact number in direct msg or some email".


A fan asked Meera about her father's well-being and she replied back, "Thanks he is."


On the professional front, Meera Chopra was last seen on the silver screen in 'Section 375'. The film co-starring Richa Chadha and Akshaye Khanna released last year on September 13.


According to a PTI report, two men were recently arrested for allegedly snatching a mobile phone from the minor son of a vegetable shop owner at knife point in Delhi's Chhawla area.
