An article was published by New York magazine's The Cut on Priyanka Chorpa and Nick Jonas' wedding passing 'racist' and 'sexist' remarks against Peecee but was taken down later after Nick's brother Joe Jonas, his fiance Sophie Turner and many Bollywood stars slammed the website for it[Website publishes ‘racist’ article on Priyanka-Nick Wedding; Sophie-Joe Jonas, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Sona Mohapatra slam it!]. The article went viral and the screenshots were circulated heavily on social media with everyone condemning it. The tweet post by the official handle of The Cut, with the article attached, read- The writer "That's right: Nicholas Jonas married into a fraudulent relationship against his will this past sunday, December 1, and I'll tell you why I think so," @mRiah explains.

Soon after, Priyanka's brother-in-law Joe and his fiancee Sophie slammed it. Many Bollywood celebrities lashed out at it too. The piece began with calling Priyanka Chopra a 'global scam artist' and went on to say how Nick Jonas married into a 'fraudulent relationship against his will'. The writer even gave a non-classy advice to Nick in the last, saying, "Nick, if you're reading this, find that horse and gallop away as fast as you can!"

The newlyweds Priyanka and Nick were attending the Bumble dating App launch party in Delhi last night i.e. on Wednesday and the new bride was asked to comment on the same.
Priyanka like a boss reacted to the article telling Hindustan Times - "I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kind of random things can’t disturb it."
