New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra broke the internet on Friday night after she announced thay she has embraced parenthood with husband Nick Jonas. The ‘Text For You’ actress shared a statement on her social media revealing that she has welcomed her first child with husband Nick Jonas via surrogacy.
Though Priyanka Chopra Jonas did not reveal the gender of her baby, according to a report of the US Weekly, it’s a baby girl for the couple.
Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas revealed with a joint statement about the arrival of their little munchkin. The statement read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with American singer and actor Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018. The couple got married at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, in a traditional Indian and Christian wedding.
Also, last year, on the occasion of Diwali, Priyanka Chopra revealed in one of her social media posts that she has moved to their new home with hubby Nick Jonas. She dropped some pictures from her new home and wrote, “Our first diwali in our first home together This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner @nickjonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full. Happy Diwali”.
Speaking on the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen featuring in a lead role in 'Text For You' and 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
