Actress Deepika Padukone, who is pregnant with her first child with husband Ranveer Singh, has resumed shooting for Rohit Shetty's ‘Singham Again.’ The actress was captured by paparazzi, clad in a police uniform and sporting sunglasses to complement her character's demeanour. Deepika’s baby bump was not seen in the pictures.

In ‘Singham Again,’ Deepika portrays the character Shakti Shetty, alongside a star-studded ensemble including Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor, bringing together the leading names from Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Arjun Kapoor will be playing the villain in the film.
Deepika's character Shakti was announced in October last year. The actress shared first-look posters from the film and wrote, "Introducing...Shakti Shetty! #SinghamAgain."
Deepika's pregnancy announcement
The news of Deepika's pregnancy surfaced shortly after her appearance at the 77th BAFTA Awards. However, it was officially confirmed by the couple through an Instagram post featuring an embossed image of baby shoes and clothing, indicating a September 2024 arrival.
After the pregnancy announcement, Deepika and Ranveer were recently seen attending the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, where Ranveer jovially spoke about his forthcoming journey into fatherhood.
Meanwhile, Deepika on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a picture of her artwork - a less-than-half-done piece of embroidery. She captioned the picture, "Hopefully I'll be able to share the completed version”.
Deepika and Ranveer got married in an intimate ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in 2018.
Apart from 'Singham Again', Deepika will be next seen in the Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan-starrer film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
