Prasoon Joshi turns 47, doesn't want 'child' in him to die
Mumbai: Lyricist, screenwriter and ad guru Prasoon Joshi, who turned 47 on Friday, says as he grows older, he wants to keep the child within him alive.
"I would like to be wiser. As you get older, age makes you become wise but that takes away the child in you. You should make sure that the child in you is kept alive. So, don't let that child in you die," Joshi told IANS. Joshi, who is mostly busy with his work, said he prefers to spend time with his family on his birthday. "I take out time for my family. So the idea would be to be with them and a few friends," he said. A National Award-winning lyricist, he says he is happy that his poetry has helped him connect with several people. "I think it's more important how you deal with the success. You should not start counting your success. What matters the most is to feel happy. It's about how you feel about life. "I feel happy that I connected to so many people through my poetry and writing," said the lyricist of songs like "Chand Sifarish" and "Maa".
