Eashvar Karthic, who is also the write, is making his directorial debut with 'Penguin'. The film's producer Kathik Subbaraj, in an exclusive statement to ABP News, praised Keerthy Suresh and said that she delivered one of her finest performances in 'Penguin'.

"The director narrated the script to us and as soon as he told Keerthy, we all felt she would be the right choice for this. After seeing her performance in Mahanati, she carried the entire film and delivered a superb performance," Kathik said.
He further said, "And, with Penguin you will be even more surprised. She has done a tremendous job! I definitely feel that Penguin would be Keerthy’s one of the best performances apart from her National award-winning performance in Mahanati."

'Penguin' has been produced by Karthik Subbaraj under his banner Stone Bench Films. The film, co-produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram under Passion Studios, has been shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
