"I am not apologizing to anyone. I have not wronged nor have I given a wrong statement about anyone. I just said what @anuragkashyap72 told me," the tweet read.
After Payal refused to apologise, Richa shared a copy of the court's order on her Twitter and Instagram handles and highlighted the section which stated that Payal will issue an ‘unconditional apology’ to her. The 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' actress also informed her fans that the next hearing in the matter is scheduled for October 12.
Payal Ghosh strongly reacted to Richa's post in which she mentioned, " WE WON! Satyamev Jayate!."
"Miss Chaddha is blowing the trumpet that she won because I just sent a courtesy apology for taking her name. This is a classic case of counting your chickens before they hatch and putting your head unnecessarily to hog the limelight," Ghosh wrote on the micro-blogging site.
The 'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' actress further tweeted, "And one more thing, I have nothing to do with Ms. chadhha ,I don’t even know her.. I hardly tweet about her because I’m not interested in her , being a human I respect every human on this planet. Let's just stay where we are and not interfere."
When a user asked Payal to be careful while sending apology, the actress wrote, "Thought being human &a woman, shld stand by andr woman as her lawyer said she is been harassed by the trolls that pained me ,so thought if my sorry can make her feel better, I should not step back after all I’m a woman too & for sharing my experience, few ppl r also abusing me."
Earlier in the day, Richa Chadha tweeted to NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma to remind her of the complaint she registered against Ghosh. She wrote, "If the NCW website mentioned that a photo op was mandatory, along with a written complaint, I’d have done the same. It is after all, the ‘National’ commision for women. PFA screenshot of the acknowledgment of my complaint , once again ma’am."
The 'Masan' actress said that she is yet to get a response from Rekha Sharma regarding her complaint. Her tweet grabbed the attention of Taapsee Pannu, who asked her to fly to Delhi.
"I think you should fly to Delhi soon to make yourself visible n audible," the 'Thappad' actress wrote.
