New Delhi: Brazilian author Paulo Coelho praised Shah Rukh Khan in his recent tweet. On Thursday, the author tweeted a video that the actor had posted that showed a sea of fans rejoicing at Pathaan's triumph in front of Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan's residence.

"King. Legend. Friend. But above all great actor (for those who don't know him in the West, I strongly suggest My Name is Khan – and I am Not a Terrorist)," reacting to the video, Paulo had tweeted.

Shah Rukh Khan responded to Paulo's tweet the following day. The actor replied to Paulo on Friday, calling the author "too kind." Also, he sought a "sooner than soon" meeting with Paulo. "You are always too kind my friend. Let us meet up sooner than soon! Bless you," Shah Rukh Khan tweeted.

The Twitter conversation between Shah Rukh Khan and Paulo has drawn attention before. For the movie 'Kaamyaab', which was backed by Shah Rukh's production company Red Chillies Entertainment, the author "thanked" the actor in 2020.

"The producers thank you in the very first frame, Shah Rukh. I am doing the same. Two days ago a great Brazilian actor, Flavio Migliaccio, committed suicide, leaving a note on how the industry treats the artists. This movie, labelled as 'comedy', is in fact the tragedy of art," Paulo tweeted.

Responding to the author, Shah Rukh tweeted, "Saw the film, when it was doing festival rounds, and it touched a chord with the whole team at Red Chillies Entertainment. Am so moved you appreciate. It’s a sad truth that character actors get forgotten. Look after yourself my friend and be safe and healthy."

Meanwhile, 'Pathaan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, has surpassed the Rs 700 crore milestone at the global box office.
