New Delhi: It’s been a week since Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ released and it is no mood to slow down. The film is smashing box office records every day with its historic run. The action entertainer has raked in Rs. 634 crore gross worldwide.  


The Siddharth Anand directorial registered Rs. 23 crores nett in India (Hindi - Rs. 22 crores, All Dubbed versions - Rs. 1 crore), taking its first week domestic total to Rs 318.50. 


 




The overseas gross on day 7 is at 15 crore. In 7 days, Pathaan has recorded $29.27 million (238.5 crores) in the overseas territories alone, bringing the worldwide gross of the film to Rs 634 crore. 


 




The film has created one more record with the highest week 1 in the history of Indian cinema. 


Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan reacted to the historical success of the film and said that the overwhelming love that has come his way with the release of ‘Pathaan’ has made him forget the last four years when he took a break from movies. 


"I thank Aditya (Chopra) and Siddharth... they gave me this opportunity. This is an expensive and time-consuming film and to give me a film at a time when I was not working and allow me to be a part of the film, I'm very grateful to them. I have forgotten the last four years in these last four days," Shah Rukh said. 


‘Pathaan’ is the fourth movie in producer Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe, following Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger" (2012) and "Tiger Zinda Hai" (2017), and "War", featuring Hrithik Roshan (2019). 


The film, which was the "widest Hindi release" of all time in India, has emerged as the "highest grosser" for Shah Rukh as well as co-stars John and Deepika, director Siddharth and YRF, the studio stated in a press release.
