Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged on August 18 after months long speculations over their relationship and the love birds have been painting the town red before and after that making adorable appearances together in India and abroad. Peecee's cousin sister Parineeti Chopra who accompanied the couple to Goa too on Nick's first India visit before their engagement, had then commented on it without saying much about her would be brother-in-law. She however opened up now and shared that she in fact has been a fan of Nick Jonas'.

Speaking about her first meeting with Nick Jonas, Parineeti told Filmfare - "She called me one day and said she was coming to India with Nick. I said tell me all about it. Initially, I just knew that there was someone special in her life. But when she told me he was coming to India with her, I knew something serious was going on between them. I met him. There were only eight to ten of us that night. I was the only one from the family, rest were Priyanka’s friends".

And and 2 days later, Parineeti joined Priyanka-Nick on their shot Goa vacation with Peecee's brother Siddharth Chopra[Pics-Video!].

Parineeti in her interview to Filmfare, further mentioning about her fan-girl moment with her would be jiju, saying - "We chilled all night with him. Of course I couldn’t be like, ‘Hi I’m your fan’. But he was chivalrous and took good care of all of us. I could see they were extremely serious about each other. I’m so happy for them".

In her earlier reaction to her meeting with Nick, Parineeti had told a news channel 3 months ago, “It was a great catch up time. It was like a family trip and there were friends with us too. So it was a friends and a family trip actually. It was short and sweet. I was there for like 24 hours and I had a great time. It was a great trip”.

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film 'The Sky is Pink' that also has Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar in lead roles alongside her. Singer-actor Nick is busy with his projects in the US. Parineeti Chopra's 'Namaste England' opposite Arjun Kapoor is scheduled to release on 19th October.
