New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and AAP politician Raghav Chadha were rumoured to be dating after being spotted together multiple times. Now, the couple has reportedly decided to tie the knot, and their wedding will allegedly be held later this year.

Parineeti was recently spotted with a silver band on her ring finger. The brief paparazzi videos of the actor are going viral and sparking engagement rumours on the internet.

Here is a recent clip of the actor:

According to India Today, in front of close family members, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in a traditional roka ceremony.

A source close to the couple told the publication,"Parineeti and Raghav's roka is done. It was a family affair and they both are very happy. The duo is likely to get married by October-end of this year. Parineeti and Raghav are in no rush and they both have work commitments that they need to take care of before getting into the wedding festivities.”

As she is quite busy with her work obligations, Parineeti is not in a hurry to be married, according to the rumours.

On Wednesday, Parineeti Chopra paid a visit to Manish Malhotra's Mumbai home. In spite of the ongoing claims, Parineeti smiled broadly and posed for photos when visiting Manish's home.

During an interview with Lifestyle Asia, Parineeti said, "There is a thin line between the media discussing my life and sometimes crossing the line by being too personal or disrespectful. If that happens, I will clarify if there are any misconceptions. If it is not necessary to clarify, I won't."

Though the couple has stayed mum about their relationship status, Parineeti’s co-star Harrdy Sandhu recently confirmed their relationship and claimed that he even congratulated her. He also revealed that they used to talk about marriage when filming the movie Code Name Tiranga, and Parineeti had stated that she would only get married when she found the "right guy."

Also, Rajya Sabha Member Sanjeev Arora congratulated the two on their ‘union’ on Twitter. The actor has now opened up about the recent media attention on her personal life.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was seen in two films in 2022 – 'Uunchai' and 'Code Name Tiranga'.  In the meantime, the actor will be seen onscreen alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the Imtiaz Ali-directed film ‘Chamkila’. The film is said to be inspired by Punjabi singer Amar Singh.
