New Delhi: Remember the beautiful actress Mayoori Kango from the film ‘Papa Kehte Hai'? Think of the film and the song ‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi, Kuch Door Chalte Hi’ automatically comes to your mind, isn’t it? Mayoori, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Naseem’, is still fondly known for her role of Sweety Khanna in ‘Papa Kehta Hai’. She was paired opposite Jugal Hansraj in the film. The ‘Betaabi’ actress has joined Google India as the industry head-agency business.
Mayoori Kango confirmed the development while talking to afaqs. The former Bollywood actress was previously working with Performics, a leading digital media agency part of the French group Publicis. She is currently settled in Gurgaon.
Besides Bollywood films, Mayoori has also been part of TV shows like ‘Kaahin Kissi Roz’, ‘Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat’ and ‘Karishma-The Miracles of Destiny’. She played the role of Karisma Kapoor’s daughter in Karishma-The Miracles of Destiny’.
Kango tied the knot with NRI Aditya Dhillon on December 28, 2003, in Aurangabad. She later moved to New York with her husband and pursued an MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business.
