New Delhi: India’s three-time Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee—a leader loved by many, who had an extraordinary life journey is all set to come alive on the big screen with Main ATAL Hoon. Featuring National Award winner Pankaj Tripathi, whose transformation left everyone in awe, is set to release on January 19, 2024.
The announcement of the biopic about his life had generated high anticipation amongst audiences and the first look of Pankaj Tripathi transforming into Atal Bohari Vajpayee created massive buzz and garnered immense appreciation, leaving audiences excited to watch the film.
On Tuesday, Pankaj Tripathi, who is playing the titular lead in the film shared a series of posters of his looks from the film along with the release date.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Pankaj Tripathi wrote, “Heart of Gold... Man of Steel... A versatile Poet... The visionary behind the New India. Witness the story of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, #MainATALHoon in cinemas 19th January 2024.”
Alongside the post, Pankaj Tripathi also shared a series of impressive posters of himself as Atal Bihari Vajpayee bearing a striking similarity with the late leader.
Directed by award winner director Ravi Jadhav, and written by Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav, ‘Main ATAL Hoon’ presented by Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios, is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali.
Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi also received a National Award recently for Best Supporting Actor for 'Mimi' headlined by Kriti Sanon. Pankaj had dedicated the award to his father who had passed away at the time.
Pankaj Tripathi is known for some iconic roles in his filmography and leaving a mark with his performance in all his films per se.
