New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor are surely impressing fans with everything 'Animal' related. As Sandeep Reddy Vanga fans await the film's release in theaters, its advance bookings were opened during the weekend.
As per latest reports on Sacnilk.com, 'Animal' is already on its way to cross Rs. 10 cr mark. The Ranbir Kapoor film has already raked in Rs. 5 cr from the three theatre chains-PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis. The total ticket sales have crossed more than 128k mark.
In Delhi alone, several reports suggested that 'Animal' has already crossed Rs. 2 cr mark in advance bookings alone. Delhi has been leading the advance sales market for 'Animal'.
Now, the all-India collection in advance bookings stands at Rs, 8.45 cr.
Several trade analysts have predicted that 'Animal' could be Ranbir Kapoor's highest opener at the box office. 'Animal' is 'A' certified.
If the same trend continues, 'Animal' could become one of the biggest films of 2023.
‘Animal’ revolved around the troubled relationship between a father and son played by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. Rasmika Mandanna plays’ Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest.
The film revolves around Ranbir’s journey of becoming a goon and avenging his father’s injury from an army of people, perhaps led by the likes of Bobby Deol( who plays the lead antagonist).
‘Animal’ marks Ranbir Kapoor’s first collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also marks Ranbir’s first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. Fans are also loving the chemistry between the two.
The film will be released along with ‘Sam Bahadur’ which stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead. The two films will be clashing at the box office on Dec 1.
While 'Sam Bahadur' is a biographical film based on the life of Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw, 'Animal', is more of a commerical entertainer with a solid star cast.
