First Visuals: Special PIA Flight For Eid With 107 People On Board Crashes In Karachi's Model Colony
Several Pakistani celebs including Saba Qamar and Ali Zafar took to social media to express grief over the unfortunate accident.
Singer Ali Zafar shared a video from the site of tragedy and wrote, “PIA plane crash. Another devastating news of the year. Prayers for the deceased and their families. Heartbreaking. 2020, can’t you just .....!”
Popular Pakistani actress Saba Qamar expressed her condolence to the victims on Twitter. The 'Hindi Medium' actress tweeted," My heart goes out to all the victims and their families in this crucial time! My mind has gone numb and I am out of words after listening to this Terrible news! Black heart #PIA #PlaneCrash #Karachi."
Veena Malik wrote, "Its so heartbreaking and Devastating. Ya Allah Reham #planecrash."
Several Bollywood celebs also expressed their shock after they came to know about the tragic incident. Isha Koppiker tweeted, "Just read about the plane crash in #Karachi. Can’t imagine what’s happening in the world - forest fires, corona virus, gas leak, cyclone, plane crash. Praying for the well-being of everyone in every part of the world."
Neha Dhupia wrote, "Such tragic news ... prayers."
"PIA Flight With 107 On Board Crashes In Karachi Minute Before Landing.. Oh god .. terrible tragedy.. prayers for the innocent lives lost and injured," R Madhavan wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan offered his condolences to the victims and that he is in touch with the rescue and relief team.
"Shocked & saddened by the PIA crash. Am in touch with PIA CEO Arshad Malik, who has left for Karachi & with the rescue & relief teams on ground as this is the priority right now. Immediate inquiry will be instituted. Prayers & condolences go to families of the deceased," Khan said in a statement.
A PIA aircraft skidded off the runway while landing at Pakistan's Gilgit airport last year. While passengers didn't suffer any injuries in the accident, the plane suffered considerable damage.
It was the second biggest plane crash in Pakistan in the last four years as PIA flight PK-661, carrying 48 passengers and crew members, had crashed on the way to Islamabad from Chitral on December 6, 2016. All the people on board lost their lives.
