Mumbai: Kamaal R Khan, who is known his controversial tweets on celebs, has landed in legal trouble. An FIR was lodged against the former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant at Bandra police station for his distasteful comments on late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan last month.

KRK had earlier tweeted about Rishi Kapoor’s hospitalization and said that the ‘Bobby’ actor must not die as the liquor shops were set to open soon.

“Rishi Kapoor has admitted in HN Reliance Hospital. And I want to say to him:- Sir Theek Hokar Jaldi Wapis Aana! Nikal Mat Lena! Kyonki Daaru Ki Dukaan. Bas 2-3 Din Ke Baad Khulne Hi Wali Hai,” he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

A few days before Irrfan Khan’s demise, KRK passed a derogatory comment on the ‘Angrezi Medium’ actor. He said that Irrfan took money from the producers, but did not complete the shooting of their films.

Yuva Sena's core committee member Rahul Kanal registered a complaint against Kamaal R Khan for his comments against the two late Bollywood actors.

"We have registered an FIR against Kamal R Khan for making derogatory remarks about both the deceased actors under section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) and other provisions of the IPC," a senior police official told PTI.

No arrest has been made so far.

Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode on April 29 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor, who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, died of colon infection. A day after Irrfan’s death, Rishi Kapoor succumbed to leukemia.
