'Pagalpanti' Box Office Day 3: John Abraham, Anil Kapoor's Film Disappoints In First Weekend

Here's how much John Abraham & Anil Kapoor's multi-starrer film 'Pagalpanti' has minted on third day.

Annes Bazmee's multi-starrer film 'Pagalpanti', featuring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Arshad Warsi, Ileana D'cruz, Urvashi Rautela and Kriti Kharbanda in pivotal roles, was expected to rake in big moolah at the box-office in first weekend. However, nothing like that happened. The film has received mixed response from critics as well as audience. After a low opening of only Rs. 5 crore, the film witnessed a minimal growth on second day and collected Rs. 6.25 crore on Saturday. Whereas, the film has again failed to witness a huge jump in collections on third day as well. 'Pagalpanti' has failed to even touch double digit numbers in first weekend. On Sunday, the film has minted only Rs. 8.25 crore as per reports in BoxofficeIndia.com thereby taking the grand total to Rs. 19.50 crore. The costing of this film is double of Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh's  'Marjaawan' which picked up over Rs 23 crore net in its first weekend and is still doing decent business. Meanwhile, the comedy has been directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The flick also stars Pulkit Samrat, Urvashi Rautela, Kriti Kharbanda and Saurabh Shukla.
