New Delhi: ‘Singham’ actress Kajal Aggarwal recently got married to a Mumbai-based businessman Gautam Kitchlu in a private ceremony in Mumbai. The couple tied the knot in front of their family members and close friends on October 30. The couple even celebrated their first Karwa Chauth together and is now enjoying their honeymoon. Kajal Aggarwal recently opened up about her newly married life, her wedding experience during the time of COVID-19, and many more while in a conversation with Filmibeat. Talking about her experience of getting married during the time of the pandemic, the ‘Magadheera’ actress was quoted saying by the portal, “The experience was great! I am really happy that I'm married. But having said that, it was very difficult. It was definitely a challenge. We took a lot of precautions. We got all our guests tested, we created a bubble and we sanitised every surface.” She added, “We just tried our level best to make sure even the vendors, the security, the staff, and the service people, everyone was tested and everyone wore masks. All the material things that were around us, was constantly sprayed with spray on.” When questioned about the feeling of being ‘Mrs. Kitchlu’, the ‘Chandamama’ actress said, “Wonderful, but I am still acclimatizing. I am getting used to being called Mrs Kitchlu. Although, I love the sound of it. It's a whole new phase of my life and I am still adapting.” Speaking on the professional front, Kajal Aggarwal has a number of projects lined up including ‘Acharya’, ‘Hey Sinamika’, ‘Mosagallu’, ‘Indian 2’, ‘Paris Paris’ and ‘Mumbai Saga’. She will also make her digital debut with Disney+Hotstar’s web series ‘LIVE Concert’ which is helmed by Venkat Parbhu. Aggarwal revealed that she will immediately start shooting for ‘Hey Sinamika’ post-Diwali.
