While investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) has launched a massive crackdown against the use of banned drugs in Bollywood.

On Tuesday, the on-going investigation took a sensational turn when Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s name surfaced in a drug chat.

NCB sources stated that some of these chats were purportedly between Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash and one 'D', they said.

According to reports, in one of the conversations between Deepika and her manager the actress allegedly asked her manager to bring "hash" to a posh club where she was partying.

This exchange of messages between the two happened in October 2017 on WhatsApp.

And now if a report published in TOI is to be believed then the investigative agency is expected to examine the footage from the party as Deepika’s party is now under NCB scanner.

Meanwhile, Deepika has got in touch with her legal team in Delhi. She is currently in Goa for the shooting of her upcoming film and is likely to leave Goa soon.

On the other hand, a PTI report stated that Deepika’s manager Karishma who was summoned by NCB could not appear before the agency on Tuesday due to ill-health. She has been exempted from appearance before the anti-drug agency till Friday.
