Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliyah Siddiqui have been making the headlines from the moment the latter filed for a divorce from the actor on May 6 and made some serious molestation allegations aagainst the actor and his family. As per the latest reports, the estranged wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui has recorded her statement on her complaint against the actor and his four family members in Budhana police station on Sunday.
A PTI report quoted SHO Kushalpal Singh who briefed on the matter saying, " Aaliya came to the Budhana police station from Mumbai and recorded her statement, corroborating what she had alleged in her complaint."
The SHO further said that Aaliya lodged a complaint on July 27 at a Mumbai police station. The FIR was then transferred it to the Budhana police station on the grounds that the place of occurrence of the offence fell under their jurisdiction.
The official further highlighted some details of Aaliya's statement and said, "She reiterated her allegation of molestation of a family member in 2012 by the actor’s brother Minhajuddin Siddiqui. She also alleged that she had apprised her in-laws’ family about the molestation incident but they told me to keep quiet and solve the matter within the family."
The news of their divorce has been making the headlines since then and on May 19, the ‘Sacred Games’ actor replied to her divorce notice. The actor had also sent a legal notice to his wife stating that the latter has been engaging in fraud, willful and planned defamation. The notice added that the actor had replied to Aaliya's divorce notice on May 19, within 15 days.
Furthermore, it has been stated that the actor in his earlier notice asked his wife not to make defamatory comments against him and also issue a written clarification on the allegations she made against him and his family members.
