Amid rising tension between Kangana Ranaut and the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government, the 'Queen' actress met the State Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday to express concerns over BMC's move to demolish her office in city's Pali Hills area earlier this week. In the meeting at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai at 4.30 pm, the 'Manikarnika' actress informed the governor about her ongoing tension with the state government. Later she took to the Twitter to say, "I explained my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me."




News Agency ANI quoted the actress saying, "I met Governor Koshyari and told him about unjust treatment I've received."

"I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of all citizens including young girls, is restored in the system. I am fortunate that the Governor listened to me like a daughter," Kangaa said, post meeting Governor Koshyari.



The tension between actress Kangana and the state government began after she made derogatory remarks about Mumbai, comparing the city with Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and calling the city's police force a "sham".

Following this, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh reportedly said that the actress has "no right to stay" Mumbai.

Meanwhile, just a few days after Kangana's sarcastic exchange with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation put out a notice to take action against the office of her production house 'Manikarnika films'.


Then on September 9, the civic body went on to raze not just parts of the structure but her belongings in the office were also destroyed. The actress maintains that no part in her property is illegally constructed and every work carried out was with the permission of BMC.


Kangana arrived in Mumbai on September 9 with the Y-plus security provided to her by the Central government. As per the IANS reports, the actress is expected to leave the city on September 14. Owing to security protocol, Kangana's team said that it cannot disclose where she was headed.
