The winners of the 66th National Film Awards were announced on Friday afternoon and the Best Actor was bagged by both Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmanna Khurrana for their respective films 'Uri - The Surgical Strike' and 'Badhaahi Ho'. Vicky's film 'Uri' bagged 3 more awards including Best Directer to debutante Aditya Dhar, Best background Music and Best Audiography apart from Best Actor for Vicky. After the winners were announced, Bollywood celebrities turned to social media to congratulate the recipients of the National Award which included Farhan Akhtar, Rangoli Chandel, Rana Daggubati & others. And finally Vicky Kaushal has also reacted to his big win.

Vicky took to Twitter and posted his message in a typed document, with caption - "#NationalFilmAwards[Indian flag emoji and folded hands emoji].

Vick's note reads - "Words might fall short to describe the happiness I'm feeling right now. For my work to be recognised by the honourable National Film Awards Jury is truly a moving moment for me and my family. I wish to thank each and every member of the jury committee for finding me worthy of the prestigious Best Actor Award for my work in URI-The Surgical Strike. I'm also very happy to be sharing the award with someone whom I admire, both as a person and as an actor. Ayushmann, congratulations brother!

He adds further -  "I wish to dedicate this Award to my parents, to every member of Team URI, to our nation and to our armed forces who put their lives on the line each day, come rain or storm. Thank You!"
