New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have collaborated on several critically acclaimed films over the course of their careers. Among these films, Karan Johar’s 2010 film 'My Name Is Khan' stands out. In celebration of the film's 14th anniversary, Kajol posted a cherished image from the film on social media. Kajol was shown lovingly resting her head on Shah Rukh Khan's shoulders in the image.


Kajol sent a picture on her social media account today with a touching message, marking the 14th anniversary of ‘My Name Is Khan’.


The post included an attractive poster with Mandira, played by Kajol, leaning her head on Rizwan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. The pair is shown wearing black attire. Kajol captioned the photo, “Reflecting on the journey of Rizwan and Mandira, and the countless lives they’ve touched..Celebrating the enduring power of love and unity.. #14yearsofmynameiskhan.” 






In the comments area, adoring fans of the film and actress expressed their deepest feelings. One user wrote, "We need you back it’s been too long", another one wrote, "A movie that everyone needs to rewatch nowadays. It’s needed in the world. 14 years of my name is khan."


According to an interview Karan Johar gave to E-Times in 2023, SRK "just showed his dedication to the film and role" by doing extensive research on Asperger's syndrome and taking time off to perfect his voice and body language. 


About ‘My Name Is Khan’


The protagonist of My Name Is Khan, portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan, is a Muslim guy called Rizwan Khan. He was suffering from Asperger's Syndrome. Over time, he develops feelings for the Hindu woman Mandira Rathod (Kajol) and they get married. The lovers' relationship is shattered by a string of bad luck, but Rizwan is determined to alter people's minds about his community.


The film included some of the most beautiful songs, including ‘Sajda’, ‘Tere Naina’, ‘Noor-E-Khuda’, and others.
