New Delhi: The much-awaited film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ has finally been released and has brought along an immensely relatable subject for the youth of this generation. The film starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Adarsh Gourav talks about the social media world and how it affects the lives of the youths of this generation. While the film has indeed struck a chord with a large chunk of the audience, it has also grabbed the attention of the Mumbai Police who have used the title of the film in an interesting way to spread awareness about cyberbullying among the audience.

Mumbai Police took to their social media and shared the picture that reads, 'Kho Gaye Hum Yahan' WHEN WE INDULGE IN CYBER BULLYING'.

They further wrote the caption, "Cyber bullying is not a La(la)ughing matter- Trolling of any kind is strongly condemned and is a punishable offence. The film follows three best friends (Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav) as they face the intricacies of love, ambition, heartache, and the captivating pull of social media. It highlights the serious dangers of social media.

Ananya Panday launched #SoPositive, a social media movement for anti-bullying a few years ago. The actress claims that both her own life and the events occurring around her inspired the idea. In an interview with News18, she said, “I was going through cyberbullying and so were a lot of people around me and I felt that the time that we live in, it is a relevant topic to speak about. Trolling doesn’t happen to actors, it happens to everyone. For example, my younger sister doesn’t like being tagged on social media. Many talented people want to showcase their talent to the world, but they are afraid of being trolled. What gave me the motivation to continue is a lot of young kids would come and talk to me about it.”

‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ is helmed by debutant director Arjun Varain Singh, backed by Excel Entertainment's Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar in collaboration with Tiger Baby's Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. The film is now streaming on Netflix.
