‘Mission Impossible 7’: Tom Cruise & Team Film Derbyshire Quarry Train Crash
A few pictures from the shooting of ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ are going viral on social media where Tom Cruise and his team can be spotted filming a train crash scene.
New Delhi: The upcoming American action spy film ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ is one of the most awaited movies of Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise. Scheduled to hit the screens next year, Tom Cruise will be witnessed reprising his role as Ethan Hunt in the seventh instalment of this worldwide popular film series.
A few pictures from the filming of ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ are going viral on social media. In the pictures, Tom Cruise and his team of ‘MI7’ can be spotted filming a scene that involves a steam locomotive crashing into a quarry from the foot of the cliff.
As reported by BBC News, the scene was shot at Stoney Middleton - where teams had been building the set for months. The report added that the scene was shot at Derbyshire and Tom Cruise was also spotted at the shooting spot. ‘The set's construction has been going on at Darlton Quarry for months but filming was delayed due to the pandemic’, report BBC.
Local photographer posted some captures from the shoot and wrote, “waited 5 months for this shot taken 20 mins ago of the train in the new mission impossible movie going off the cliff!! Tom was there too , amazing day”.
In another post, he shared, “Tom cruise getting into the golf carts after flying himself into the film set , i mean come on how cool is that ? oh and his helicopters all black , to match his outfit”.
Other than Tom Cruise, ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ will also star Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt. Meanwhile, an eight-film in the /series has also been scheduled for a 2023 release.
