Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar To Star Opposite Vicky Kaushal In YRF’s Comic Flick?

New Delhi: Winner of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her debut opposite Akshay Kumar. Born on 14^th May 1997 in Haryana, she is also pursuing a medical degree (MBBS) apart from being the sixth representative from India to win the pageant title. According to sources, the former Miss World 2017 has bagged her second film opposite the ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ actor in YRF’s comedy flick. This movie is also going to mark Vicky Kaushal’s first comedy project.



Based on a report of ANI, a trade source revealed that Manushi has been signed as the heroine for the comedy that Yash Raj Films is producing and it will be very interesting to see one of the youngest and freshest romantic jodis in Bollywood.

The source said, “Manushi has been signed opposite Vicky for the comedy YRF is producing. Vicky and Manushi will be a very interesting pairing and definitely one of the youngest and freshest romantic jodis in Bollywood! This is Vicky’s first comedy film and Manushi will also be trying her hand in this genre for the first time.”

The source further said that this will be a part of YRF’s ‘Project 50’ venture and the official announcement will be made on September 27^th this year. It added, “This film is part of YRF’s Project 50 that is aiming to celebrate 50 years of Yash Raj Films. The official announcement of this film and the casting is set to happen on September 27^th, when Aditya Chopra unveils the entire slate of the studio.”

The source further revealed, “Adi is handpicking the projects that makes the cut for YRF Project 50 and he is very bullish on Vicky-Manushi’s film. He is confident their pairing is going to work its magic on screen.”

The ‘Miss World’ will be seen portraying the character of Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife Samyukta in her debut movie.
