New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Payal Ghosh, who has accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment. Payal took to social media to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action against the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ director. She alleged that Kashyap forced himself on her and requested the government to provide her security. "@anuragkashyap7 has forced himself on me and extremely badly. @PMOIndia @narendramod  ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Pls help!," Payal tweeted. Kangana, who was recently engaged in a war of words with Anurag Kashyap, demanded his arrest while replying to Payal’s tweet. She wrote, “ Every voice matters #MeToo #ArrestAnuragKashyap. Check out her reply!

Chairperson of National Commission for Women Rekha Sharma asked the actress to send her a detailed complaint and assured that the NCW would look into the matter. “You may send me the detailed complaint at chairperson-ncw@nic.in and @NCWIndia will look into it,” Rekha Sharma wrote on the micro-blogging site. Ghosh thanked Sharma and said that she would send the complaint to the NCW.

Payal, while talking to ABN Telugu, alleged that Anurag Kashyap took her to a room and tried to force himself on her. The ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ actress further claimed that the director said that several actresses, who have worked with him, are a call away. Anurag Kashyap is yet to react to the serious allegations.

On the professional front, Payal Ghosh made her acting debut with BBC Telefilm's 'Sharpe's Peril'. She also played the role of Radhika in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya'. Model Dimple Paul recently accused director Sajid Khan of sexual misconduct. She alleged that the 'Hey Baby' director asked her to strip in front of him to bag a role in his 'Housefull' film.
