His response came after NCW earlier today issued a notice to Mahesh Bhatt, Urvashi Rautela, Esha Gupta, Rannvijay Singha, Mouni Roy, and Prince Narula for recording of witness statements on a complaint received from a social activist Yogita Bhayan.

Founder of People Against Rapes in India, Yogita Bhayan has reportedly alleged that the mentioned celebs initially promoted a modelling firm accused of exploiting girls, and then disassociated themselves with firm's promoter Sunny Verma and his bad deeds. She alleged that the celebs are now refusing to come in front and reveal the truth.

Upon acknowledging the matter, NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma issued a notice to the mentioned celebrities for recording their statement in the case against the modelling firm IMG Ventures and its promoter Sunny Verma, who has been accused of duping and exploiting young girls on the pretext of providing them modelling opportunities in the industry.
