New Delhi: The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput unfolded many out of sight conversations amongst the masses. People then started blaming many Bollywood biggies and other actors for banning the ‘Chhichhore’ actor from their home productions. However, things took a U-turn and his fans soon felt that Sushant’s death was not a suicide but a planned murder. They started demanding a CBI investigation to find out the actual reason behind it.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, while talking to a leading daily, said that the Mumbai Police did not suspect any foul play in the actor’s death and feels CBI enquiry is needless.

The Mumbai Police is competent enough to handle such cases and they are investigating every aspect of the case including professional rivalry. As of now, we do not see any foul play. Details of the investigation will be shared once it is completed,” Anil Deshmukh told Mid-Day.
