New Delhi: The highly anticipated sequel to the bold and thought-provoking film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ is set to push boundaries yet again with its exploration of modern love in the digital era. Director Dibakar Banerjee has issued a disclaimer ahead of the teaser launch, warning audiences of the sensitive and shocking content they can expect.
Dibakar Banerjee emphasises the film's focus on the personal concerns of individuals in today's digital age, especially catering to the youth of this generation. ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ promises to shed light on uncomfortable truths and realities that may challenge viewers' perceptions.
The director's video message, shared by the makers (Balaji Motion Pictures), underscores the film's dark and delicious narrative, cautioning that some shots may shock audiences.
In the video, he said, “Making ‘LSD’ and not showing the truth is not possible. So, while making ‘LSD 2’, we portrayed the same truth, an authentic picture of life that we see all around us. But, these days, instead of believing the truth, the fashion of ignoring the truth has increased. So, if you are in that fashion, then I can give you a disclaimer that you should not watch the ‘LSD 2’ teaser or trailer,” as translated by IANS.
He can be also heard saying, “If you are not an adult then do not watch the ‘LSD 2’ teaser or trailer."
Balaji Motion Pictures, in association with Cult Movies, presents ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’, produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film is slated for release on April 19, 2024.
