While we saw the who's who of Bollywood showing up at their respective polling booths to exercise their rights to vote and the pictures thereafter flashing the inked fingers, here's a first time voter from the industry. It was the first time for the Former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen's 19 yr old daughter Renee who could cast vote and the mommy-daughter duo after using their fundamental right to vote, flashed their inked fingers together while the proud mommy wrote - "Today I feel proud knowing Renée initiated her journey of being a responsible citizen, one who participates in due process of Democracy, celebrating the love of her country & investing in its future!!! Renee had turned 18 in 2017. The 'Main Hoon Na' actress was just 25 when she adopted Renne in 2000 and had said then- “She’s not born from my stomach but from my heart". 


Sushmita had on Renee's 19th birthday last year in September, had written a beautiful message that read- "Your sister & I love you beyond!!! Here’s to you & I turning 19 yrs old today...Aim for the skies...it’s #time to #fly Dugga Dugga Shona!!! Enjoyyyyyyyyyy!!! Mmuuuaaah".


Sushmita Sen was recently in news after a picture of her's posing with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl gave rise to speculations about her engagement with the spotting of an engagement ring in her finger.
