New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has forced the people to stay indoors at their homes. The shoot for all the films, TV shows and ads have been stalled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. PM Narendra Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown to combat the deadly virus. Bollywood, Tollywood and TV celebrities are making full use of the free time by doing household work and learning new activities.


Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is also making the most of his time by staying at home during the lockdown. The actor’s wife Namrata Shirodkar shared a picture and said that Mahesh is bringing smile on their faces with his ‘uplifting humour’.

Namrata had earlier shared a photo of Mahesh and their daughter Sitara along with the caption, "It’s the initial go crazy with happiness when they hear it’s 21 day lockdown and all she’s going to see is so much more of her favourite !! Nana she just can’t get her hands Of him !! Life in the time of carona!! #homebound#stayhome #staysafe #staystrong #sharethelove ."

The father-daughter duo can be seen spending quality time in the collage photo.



Mahesh Babu donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister's relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to help the government in the fight against Coronavirus. The superstar also requested the fans to follow social distancing to keep the deadly virus at bay.

"Let's battle the COVID-19 as a nation! I urge everyone to follow the rules put forth by our Government. My deepest gratitude for all your efforts @PMOIndia @TelanganaCMO @KTRTRS @AndhraPradeshCM @ysjagan Humanity will rise and we will win this war! #StayHomeStaySafe ," the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star wrote on Twitter.



The 'Spyder actor also has contributed Rs 25 lakh for the TFI workers and urged his fellow actors to join in for the cause.

"The lockdown situation adversely impacts the lives of daily wage cine workers. Will be contributing Rs. 25 lakhs towards Corona crisis charity for TFI workers. Requesting all fellow actors to come forward and make their contributions in these testing times #StayHomeStaySafe," Mahesh Babu wrote on the micro-blogging site.



On the career front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', which did quite well at the box office. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was Mahesh Babu’s third consecutive movie, which crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.
