Accolades and praise have been pouring in for every character in the comedy-drama. In the meanwhile, Ravi Kishan's performance as the corrupt cop searching for the missing bride is superb. In 'Laapataa Ladies', actor Ravi Kishan made headlines not for his performance, but for his impressive paan consumption. Reports have surfaced regarding the number of 'paans' the actor consumed in a single scene of the film, leaving many curious about the exact count.

In an interview with Netflix India, the cast of 'Laapataa Ladies' were reacting to a particular scene of the film. The scene is when Sparsh Shrivastava's character goes to file a missing report of his wife (played by Nitanshi Goel). During this scene, Ravi Kishan’s character can be seen looking at the picture of the missing bride and investigating the picture. At the time, he was munching on paan, and he mentioned how many paans he had eaten at that moment.

Ravi Kishan recalled, “In this particular scene, I chewed around 32 ‘paan’ because the scene was shot from many different angles. So yes, I chewed 32 paan for this scene.”

The actor also claimed that he consumed around 160 'paan' in total. “From what I vaguely remember, 160 paan,” he said.
