New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is all set to release in theatres next year. Earlier, it was revealed that the movie will release on Valentine’s Day next year, but according to the latest update shared by the team of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, the movie is now all set to release on Baisakhi next year.
Sharing a new poster from the movie, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared on Instagram, “We are happy to share our new poster and our new release date”.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will release in theatres on April 14, 2022. Featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an adaptation of the 1994 American movie ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. The story of ‘Forrest Gump’ is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name, which retells adventure of Gump, who sees the world simply and beautifully. Gump has been illustrated as a man with low IQ in the novel.
Directed by Advait Chauhan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will also mark Naga Chaitanya’s debut in the Hindi film industry. Here’s a picture of Naga Chaitanya with Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, during the shooting of the movie in Ladakh.
Aamir Khan was last seen featuring in the 2018 movie 'Thugs Of Hindostan', which marked the '3 Idiots' actor and Amitabh Bachchan's first collaboration as lead actors in any movie. 'Laal Singh Chaddha' will mark Aamri Khan's comeback in theatres after 4 long years.
