New Delhi: In an exciting development for fans, preparations for the highly anticipated ‘Krrish 4’ have kicked off. Hrithik Roshan, alongside his father and renowned filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, is deeply engaged in the conceptualisation phase of the upcoming superhero saga. The father and son duo aims to finalise the script by the end of 2024.
A source close to the development revealed, "Hrithik has scheduled brainstorming sessions throughout the summer. Both Rakesh and he want to deliver a story that will exceed expectations”, according to a report by Mid-day. The report also suggests that the team will be ready to shoot next year, in 2025.
Despite Hrithik's current involvement in filming ‘War 2’, he remains actively engaged in the ideation process, collaborating closely with his father and their in-house team of writers.
Earlier in an interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan said, “I won’t make Krrish 4 till I am not satisfied from inside. We have got the script ready, but we keep on improvising. I still feel, there is some scope of improvement. We can’t make films on budgets as high as Hollywood and hence, our content has to be strong and new in this world of superheroes. We have got a great story, and we are now just retouching it.”
With attention to detail, the ‘Krrish 4’ team has diligently ensured that only the most compelling narrative drives the fourth installment forward.
The ‘Krrish’ franchise began with the groundbreaking success of ‘Koi... Mil Gaya’ (2003). This was followed in 2006 by the release of ‘Krrish’, which featured Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan. 'Krrish 3' was released in 2013 and featured Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik in the lead roles. With Priyanka Chopra's return speculated for the female lead role, anticipation for the next chapter in the superhero saga has reached new heights.
