Kartik Aaryan and Kapil Sharma Engage In Fun Banter To Promote Their Films Shehzada And Zwigato

Kapil Sharma is all set to showcase his acting skills with his upcoming film ‘Zwigato.’ Kapil successfully transforms himself into a hardworking delivery boy in the film.

New Delhi: Kapil Sharma is all set to showcase his acting skills with his upcoming film ‘Zwigato.’ Kapil, who is usually well known for his keen sense of humour, successfully transforms himself into a hardworking delivery boy in the film. 

The film features Kapil Sharma, as a food delivery rider who grapples with the world of ratings and algorithms. Set in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the film captures the lives of invisible ‘ordinary’ people that are hidden in plain sight.  

Kapil Sharma with his inimitable humour couldn’t help but plug the film on his talk show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and left his guests, the cast of Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan, and Kriti Sanon in splits. Considering how excited Kapil is about his film, he engaged in fun banter with Kriti and Kartik, who came on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to promote their film. Kapil not only spoke about the film but also reiterated its release date which falls exactly a month after ‘Shehzada.’

Recently, Anurag Kashyap, who was recently seen on Kapil's sets celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the movie "Gangs of Wasseypur," praised Zwigato.  

During the course of the episode, the topic of 'Zwigato' came up, and Anurag mentioned that he has seen the film and appreciated Kapil's performance. 
 
The director said, "You won't believe that it is Kapil Sharma. I had a feeling that since he is starring in the film, it would be a comedy. In reality, I didn't laugh at all. In fact, I am sure that Zwigato will make you cry." 

‘Zwigato' has been directed by Nandita Das, and also stars Shahana Goswami and Tushar Acharya. The film, presented by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives, is releasing in theatres on March 17, 2023.
