According to an entertainment portal, the film will feature two-heroes and three-heroines. The film is a story of two brothers in which the elder brother will play the hero whereas the younger brother will be the villain. Reportedly, Karan Johar has roped in Ranveer Singh to play the elder brother for his directorial venture whereas the actor who will play the younger sibling is yet to be finalized.

Speaking about the same, a source told the portal that, “Karan earlier wanted Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play brothers but Ranbir turned it down later. He had said yes first but then he changed his mind. Karan doesn’t know if he changed his mind because it’s a negative role or because he doesn’t want to do a two-hero film with Ranveer.

But it'll be interesting to see Kareena & Ranveer sharing screen-space for the first time that too as brother & sister. For the uninitiated, Kareena was the first choice for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela' & was set to romance Ranveer in the film. But later, she opted out due to unknown reasons & Deepika replaced her in the film.

If the news turns out to be true then, Alia & Ranveer will be seen romancing each other in the film for the second after Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy'.
