Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a cute photo from her sister Karisma Kapoor’s birthday celebrations on social media. Karisma, who turned a year older on Friday (June 25), celebrated her 47th birthday with Bebo, Saif Ali Khan, family members and close friends. Lolo’s daughter Samaira Kapoor and son Kiaan, Amrita Arora and her two sons also joined the celebrations held at Kareena-Saif's house.
The birthday girl, who looked scintillating in a golden and black outfit, was at loss of words after receiving the surprise. Kareena, Amrita and Samaira can be seen smiling while striking a pose for the camera. We also spotted little Taimur Ali Khan, who made a special appearance in the snap.

Earlier in the day, Kareena shared a video montage which featured special moments from Karisma’s life on Instagram. Her post speaks volume about the bond she shares with Karisma.
“Happy birthday to the bravest, trongest, and the most precious woman I know... my sister, my best friend, my second mother and the centre of our family...Chinese food tastes even better when we eat it together. I love you like no one else... I also do wonder sometimes who the older sister is but that is the best part of having one... My lolo,” the ‘Jab We Met’ actress wrote.
Karisma thanked her younger sister for the heartfelt post. She commented, “Love this !thank you my baby sis.”
Karisma ruled millions of hearts in the 90s and delivered back-to-back hits at the box office. Some of her popular films include ‘Raja Hindustani’, ‘Coolie No.1’, ‘Zubeidaa’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. She made her digital debut with ‘Mentalhood’, which beamed on ALTBalaji.
Talking about Kareena, the ‘Good Newwz’ actress will be next seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ opposite Aamir Khan. The upcoming movie was slated to hit the silver screens in December 2020; however, the makers postponed the release due to the COVID-19 crisis.
