New Delhi: Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her social media and shared musings ahead of her 40^th birthday on September 21. The actress got married to Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and recently, the couple announced their second pregnancy. Mommy-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan seems to be in a reflective mood as she shared a pensive note as she enters her 40^th glorious year. The ‘Heroine’ actress recently took to her Instagram and shared a stunning black and white picture with a beautiful note as she welcomes the ‘BIG 40’ in her life. Her note read, “As I enter my 40th year... I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am... Some right, some wrong, some great, some not so... but still, hey BIG 40 make it BIG”

In her Instagram story, she also shared a glimpse of her birthday preparations and wrote, ‘Birthday kebabs getting ready. By @reenz290.’ The ‘Jab We Met’ actress tagged her friend Reenaa Pillai Gupta in her post. On the arrival of their second child, husband Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan released a statement as they were elated on the addition to their family. The statement read, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. - Saif and Kareena.”
