New Delhi: Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are all set to welcome their second child. The two lovebirds issued a statement to announce the arrival of a little bundle of joy into their lives. Several tinsel town celebs and fans have showered the couple with congratulatory messages. Saifeena, as fondly called by fans, announced her pregnancy on Sara Ali Khan’s birthday on August 12.

Saif and Kareena, who tied the knot in 2012, became parents of a baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan, on December 20, 2016. The cute munchkin is one of the most popular star kids on the block as his photos go viral in no time on social media.

The ‘Kurbaan’ co-stars thanked their well-wishers for their love and support while sharing the good news. “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family !!Thank you to all our well wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena,” the couple said in a statement.

Kareena grabbed a lot of eyeballs during her first pregnancy as she worked even in her third trimester. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week 2016 and made waves with her stunning avatar. She even flaunted her baby bump during Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan’.

The ‘Good Newwz’ actress has stepped out for work after announcing her pregnancy. Naina Sawhney took to social media to share a picture from work. Kareena can be seen radiating pregnancy glow as she wore a beautiful Sureena Chowdhri outfit.

“Back with my team. missed this. #covidshoot #after5months #workbeforeipop,” the caption for the post read.



Kareena's make-up artist Pompy also shared a picture with the 'Jab We Met' actress on his Insta story.

Bebo shared a stunning picture after switching to work mode. She posted the selfie along with the caption, "Another day, another shoot and well... another one of my favourite selfies."



On the professional front, Kareena will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The film co-starring Aamir Khan was slated to hit the silver screens in December 2020. However, the makers have postponed the movie's release to Christmas 2021.
