Sooraj Pancholi has now come forward to demand a CBI investigation in Sushant’s case. The actor took to his Instagram story to demand a CBI probe into the matter. He hoped that the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s family ‘gets the closure they need’. Pancholi added that SSR’s family and world need to know ‘what actually happened'.
"I really pray and hope that Sushant's family get the closure they need! They really deserve a proper CBI investigation, It has been a long battle for them already! They need to know what actually happened, and the World needs to know too! #CBIForSSR," Sooraj wrote.

Sooraj, in an interview with ABP News, had earlier denied the rumours of his tiff with Sushant. He said, “Although, we were not good friends but we never had an issues or fights with each other. When the article about our ‘tiff’ was published in a newspaper in 2017, Sushant called me and asked me to give a clarification to the newspaper. I issued a statement to the daily and refuted the rumours of a fight.”

Earlier in the day, Kriti Sanon also penned an emotional note on social media. She prayed that the CBI 'takes over' the case so that investigation is done without any political agenda.
“I pray that the Truth comes out SOON...His family, his friends, fans, and all loved ones deserve this closure... I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so it's investigated without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Last month, the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor's father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others under various sections of the IPC.
Sushant's last film 'Dil Bechara' premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The romantic drama co-starring Sanjana Sanghi received a massive response from all the corners. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial reportedly got over 75 million views within 18 hours of release.
